Hans Zimmer is bringing Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level to North American arenas in 2027. The Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer announced the dates on Sept. 17, 2026: a ~30-show U.S. and Canada run from Feb. 17 in Hartford to April 11 in Portland, with Zimmer on stage with a 19-piece band.
This is not a seated-orchestra “greatest scores” night. The production is built around live instruments, electronics, and large-scale visuals — the same show that ranked among the world’s top 10 tours in the first half of 2026 in Europe. Expect music from Inception, Interstellar, Dune, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Lion King, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

How to get cheaper Hans Zimmer tickets
1. Hit the presales first.
Amex on Sept. 23 and the artist presale on Sept. 24 are the best shot at face value before bots and dynamic pricing take the lower sections. Register now at the official site and have your Amex ready.
2. Compare official vs. verified resale the same day.
Primary: Ticketmaster and venue box offices.
Verified secondary: SeatGeek, StubHub, Capital City Tickets.
After the first rush, upper-bowl and obstructed-view seats often drop on resale — especially midweek markets (Hartford, Cincinnati, Oklahoma City, Sacramento).
3. Avoid the most expensive nights if you just want the show.
LA (Crypto.com Arena), NYC-area (UBS + Prudential), Miami, Chicago, and Boston will price highest. Charlotte, Tampa, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, and Portland usually have more inventory.
4. Wait 24–72 hours after general on-sale.
If you miss Friday morning, don’t panic-buy platinum. Inventory often recirculates over the weekend as holds drop.
5. Skip screenshot / social “deals.”
Most 2027 arena shows are mobile-only. Use platforms with buyer guarantees. Never pay via Cash App, Zelle, or Instagram DMs.
6. Watch all-in pricing.
Compare fees before you click buy. A $90 face ticket can look like $130 after service charges; a $115 all-in resale listing can actually be cheaper.
What the show is (so you pick the right seats)
Zimmer performs on stage with a 19-piece ensemble — not from a conductor’s podium behind a full symphony. Lighting and screens are a big part of The Next Level. For this production:
- Lower bowl / sideline is the sweet spot for sound and visuals.
- Extreme side / behind-stage can lose the screen picture.
- Upper bowl is fine if you want the full lighting look at a lower price.
Shows generally run about three hours with an intermission on other legs of this tour.
City-by-city buying notes
- Northeast cluster (Feb. 17–24): Hartford → UBS Arena → Newark → Philly → Boston in eight days. If NYC-area prices spike, Hartford and Philly are the value plays.
- Canada (Feb. 26–March 2): Ottawa, Quebec City, Hamilton — often softer than U.S. coastal arenas.
- Midwest (March 3–7): Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati. Chicago will be the premium date.
- South (March 9–17): Charlotte, Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Atlanta, Nashville. Miami and Atlanta move first.
- Plains / Mountain (March 19–30): Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Fort Worth, Denver, Salt Lake, Phoenix.
- West Coast close (April 1–11): LA, Anaheim, SF, Sacramento, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland. Anaheim and Sacramento are usually cheaper than Crypto.com Arena and Chase Center.
FAQ
Are tickets on sale yet?
Presales start Sept. 23 (Amex) and Sept. 24 (artist). General public is Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. local.
Will there be more dates?
Only these 30 are confirmed as of Sept. 18, 2026. Adds happen if demand is strong and buildings are free.
Is this the same as “The World of Hans Zimmer”?
No. That is a separate touring production, often conducted by a collaborator. The Next Level is Zimmer himself with the 19-piece band and the newer stage design.
Can I use a screenshot at the door?
Assume mobile transfer only. Refresh the ticket in the official app on show day.
