Japanese punk-pop pioneers Shonen Knife are set to bring their infectious, high-energy “girls rock” sound to North America this summer on a major co-billing tour with ’80s icons Men At Work and beloved alt-rockers Toad the Wet Sprocket. The package tour kicks off July 16, 2026, in Pompano Beach, FL, and runs through mid-August, delivering a nostalgic yet fresh lineup of hits spanning decades.
Led by founding member Naoko Yamano, Shonen Knife—known for their Ramones-inspired punk, catchy melodies, and playful lyrics—will open most dates while also headlining special “Osaka Ramones” sets on select nights (marked with * below). This marks an exciting cross-generational bill: Men At Work’s Colin Hay delivering timeless tracks like “Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now?”, Toad the Wet Sprocket with anthems such as “All I Want” and “Walk on the Ocean,” and Shonen Knife adding raw, joyful punk energy.
“I’m very excited to tour with rock legends,” said Naoko. “This tour will be gorgeous and I hope you enjoy the chemical reaction of these three bands!”
