Carín León is going back to Sphere at The Venetian — the first Latin artist to headline the room, and now the first act to extend a Sphere run.
New dates: Thursday–Saturday, Sept. 16–18, 2027, timed to Mexico Independence Day / El Grito weekend. The shows are produced by AEG. Presale is Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. PT. General on-sale is Thursday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. PT. Limited Venetian travel VIP packages are already on sale.

Separate date: Thursday’s Sept. 10, 2026 Sphere show was postponed for a travel issue. Those tickets stay valid for Sept. 15, 2027, or refund at the original seller by Oct. 10, 2026. That makeup night sits next to the new three-show add — don’t mix the two in checkout.

Why this booking is bigger than three nights
On Sept. 4, 2026, León (Hermosillo, Sonora) became the first Spanish-language / Latin headliner at Sphere. Opening night featured Cody Johnson and Monterrey rock band The Warning. The debut run sold out across seven dates. The 27-piece band — including a heavy horn section — was built for the 16K wraparound LED and Sphere Immersive Sound.
Vegas already treats mid-September as a Mexican-music peak. Putting the first Latin Sphere artist back on El Grito weekend is the encore the 2026 lines were asking for.
2027 Sphere dates
| Date | What it is |
|---|---|
| Tue Sept. 15, 2027 | Makeup for the postponed Sept. 10, 2026 show (existing tickets valid) |
| Thu Sept. 16, 2027 | New add |
| Fri Sept. 17, 2027 | New add |
| Sat Sept. 18, 2027 | New add |
Doors typically open 90 minutes before showtime. Sphere is mobile tickets only — add them to your wallet before you hit the security line.

When tickets go on sale
| Window | Time |
|---|---|
| VIP travel packages | On sale now via The Venetian |
| Fan presale (register on León’s site) | Tue, Sept. 15, 10 a.m. PT |
| General public | Thu, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. PT |
Register this weekend. Sphere maps do not behave like a club show. The cheap 300-level inventory disappears first; then the mid-bowl “screen view” seats jump to resale.
How to buy
- Register at carinleonlive.com.
- Tuesday 10 a.m. PT: presale. Thursday 10 a.m. PT: public.
- Have The Venetian / Sphere account and a card saved. Mobile wallet ready.
- If you need a hotel anyway, price the official Travel VIP package against a standalone ticket + a separate Venetian/Palazzo rate. Packages bundle reserved seats, resort stay, and merch — they are not automatically the cheapest path.
- If primary is gone, compare:
- Official Sphere / AXS verified resale
- StubHub
- SeatGeek
- Capital City Tickets
Do not buy “guaranteed floor” from a WhatsApp broker. Sphere barcodes are account-based.
Best seats in Sphere
This room is the screen.
- 200-level center / slightly off-center: usually the sweet spot — full wrap, less neck strain than the very front.
- Lower 100s close to the stage: great for the band, worse for the full LED “sky.”
- 300-level center: value play if the alternative is $400 resale in row 6.
- Suites: official premium inventory on the Sphere site — not a random Instagram table.
No outside food or drink. Kids 2+ need a ticket; under 2 on a lap. Under-18s should come with an adult.
2026 debut vs 2027 return
| 2026 debut | 2027 return | |
|---|---|---|
| Historic first | First Latin Sphere headliner | First Sphere extension |
| Timing | Early September run (7 dates) | El Grito weekend (3 new nights + Sept. 15 makeup) |
| Guests | Cody Johnson, The Warning on opening night | Not announced |
| Tickets | Sold out | Presale Sept. 15 / public Sept. 17 |
Assume the production language stays: full band, wraparound Sonora-to-Sphere visuals, immersive audio. Guest list will leak later — don’t pay a premium “plus special guest” markup from a reseller.
Travel math for El Grito weekend
Mid-September Vegas is not a discount weekend. Book the room the same day as the ticket. The Venetian package exists because that resort sits on top of Sphere access. If you skip the bundle, still stay on-property or walking distance — rideshare surge after 18,000 people exit the bowl is real.
If you already hold a Sept. 15, 2027 makeup ticket and want a second night, buy 16/17/18 as a separate order. Those are not automatically upgraded.
Quick FAQ
Is this a full residency like U2 or the Eagles?
No. Three newly announced nights plus the Sept. 15 makeup.
Where do I register for presale?
carinleonlive.com.
Will Thursday 2026 tickets work in 2027?
Yes — valid Sept. 15, 2027, or refund by Oct. 10, 2026 at the original point of purchase.
English or Spanish show?
Spanish-language headliner; venue announcements are typically bilingual.
Bags?
Follow Sphere’s current small-bag / clear-bag rules on the official plan-your-visit page. Don’t show up with a backpack.
Bottom line
Presale is Tuesday 10 a.m. PT. Public sale is Thursday. If you want El Grito weekend inside Sphere, treat Sept. 17 like a stadium on-sale, not a “maybe later” club date.
