Dermot Kennedy opens the North American leg of The Weight of the Woods Tour this week. Three Midwest dates land in four nights:
| Date | City | Venue | Support | Show |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fri, Sept 4, 2026 | Minneapolis | The Armory | Hunter Metts | 8:00 p.m. |
| Sat, Sept 5, 2026 | Milwaukee | Landmark Credit Union Live | Hunter Metts | 8:00 p.m. |
| Tue, Sept 8, 2026 | Indianapolis | Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park | Jonah Kagen | 8:00 p.m. |
Official routing and onsales: Live Nation / artist listings and Ticketmaster. The run is Live Nation–promoted.
Minneapolis is days away. Milwaukee is the next night. Indianapolis is the first outdoor shed of the U.S. routing.
Which date is cheapest right now?
Recent public listings have put Indianapolis lawn / get-in in the mid-$30s to high $40s, Minneapolis closer to the mid-$50s, and Milwaukee often the highest of the three (low-to-mid $70s on some marketplaces). That can flip overnight. Always sort by all-in price.

- Resale: SeatGeek · StubHub · Capital City Tickets
How to buy without overpaying
- Check primary first for leftover face-value GA / lawn.
- Open three resale tabs and compare all-in, not the teaser.
- GA floor (Armory / Landmark) and lawn (Indy) are the cheap seats. Club / reserved is where prices jump.
- Mobile tickets only at all three. Download in the Live Nation or Ticketmaster app at home.
- Skip screenshots and “I’ll meet you at the door” listings.

Minneapolis: The Armory (Sept 4)
Venue: The Armory, 500 S 6th St — downtown indoor room, ~8,400 cap.
Why it sells: tour opener. Tight inventory this close to show day.
Know before you go
- Doors typically 6:30 p.m.; music 8:00 p.m. No re-entry.
- All ages on the floor / most seats. Club-level balcony is 21+ for this show.
- Bags: small purse/bag under 12″ x 6″ x 12″. No bag is faster. No CamelBaks.
- Parking inside the building via the Impark ramp (enter 5th Ave S / 5th St). Reserve ahead if you can. Light rail: between U.S. Bank Stadium and Government Center.
- Cards and cash at the bar; don’t count on a long cash line.

Tickets: Live Nation · SeatGeek Minneapolis
Cheap-ticket angle: GA floor. Club tables look premium and price like it. If you’re under 21, do not buy Club.
Milwaukee: Landmark Credit Union Live (Sept 5)
Venue: Landmark Credit Union Live, 1051 N. Vel R. Phillips Ave — new ~4,500-cap indoor room in the Deer District, steps from Fiserv Forum.
Why it sells: Saturday night, brand-new room, one night after Minneapolis.
Know before you go
- Bags up to 12″ x 6″ x 12″; all bags searched. Go bag-free if you can. No large backpacks or CamelBaks.
- Cashless. Credit, debit, Apple Pay / Google Pay. Cash-to-card at coat check.
- The venue does not run a big on-site lot. Use nearby garages: Highland (1030 N 6th), Isaac’s / 330 W Wells, Brewery Structure (1213 N 9th). Book a garage before you leave.
- Box office on show days; phone is the ticket.
Venue: Ticketmaster Landmark page
Tickets: Live Nation · Capital City Tickets
Cheap-ticket angle: this has been the priciest of the three on resale. If Minneapolis still has GA and you can drive Friday, the Armory is often the better all-in buy. Saturday in the Deer District costs the “weekend downtown” premium.
Indianapolis: Everwise Amphitheater (Sept 8)
Venue: Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park, 801 W Washington St — ~2,500 reserved under the canopy + ~3,500 lawn (~6,000).
Why it sells: first outdoor date of the U.S. run; Tuesday night; downtown park setting.
Know before you go
- Clear bag: 12″ x 6″ x 12″ tote or small clutch (~6″ x 9″). Other bags go back to the car.
- Mobile entry. Load tickets at home.
- Typically allowed (confirm show day): lawn chair no more than 9″ off the ground, blanket, food in a 1-gallon clear bag, one sealed/empty clear water bottle.
- Parking is White River State Park lots + underground garage by the museums + Zoo / Victory Field overflow when the Indians are dark. Premier / VIP parking is the upgrade. Downtown traffic is real — arrive early.
Venue: whiteriverstatepark.org · indianapolisamp.com
Tickets: Live Nation · SeatGeek
Cheap-ticket angle: lawn. This has been the value date of the three. Tuesday + outdoor capacity = more leftover inventory than the two indoor openers.
Quick comparison
| The Armory | Landmark Live | Everwise Amp | |
|---|---|---|---|
| City | Minneapolis | Milwaukee | Indianapolis |
| Room | Indoor ~8,400 | Indoor ~4,500 | Outdoor ~6,000 |
| Day | Friday | Saturday | Tuesday |
| Support | Hunter Metts | Hunter Metts | Jonah Kagen |
| Bag | 12x6x12 | 12x6x12 | Clear 12x6x12 |
| Parking | On-site ramp | Nearby garages | Park lots + garages |
| Cheap seat | GA floor | GA | Lawn |
| Value right now | Mid | Highest of three | Lowest of three |
Drive math: Minneapolis → Milwaukee is a straight I-94 shot for a two-night run. Milwaukee → Indy is longer; most fans pick one indoor date or the Tuesday shed, not all three.
