Texas songwriting legend Robert Earl Keen is hanging the disco ball right next to the Christmas ornaments for his annual holiday run. The I Will Survive…Christmas Tour brings a full Studio 54 energy to December 2026 with holiday classics, disco superhits, and a deep dive into Keen’s own catalog.
Fans are encouraged to dress the part — bell bottoms, leisure suits, wide collars, and platform boots (or whatever still fits). The shows mix festive sing-alongs with funky, high-energy covers and Keen staples. Special guest Drayton Farley supports every date.

What to Expect at the Shows
This is classic Robert Earl Keen holiday territory — just with a disco twist. Expect the usual irreverent charm (including “Merry Christmas From the Family”), band banter, and plenty of sing-alongs, plus disco-era hits that fit the “funky town” / Studio 54 theme. The production leans into the fun of the concept without losing the loose, live-band feel Keen’s crowds love.
Buying Tips
- Start at the official site for primary inventory.
- Compare face-value options across Ticketmaster and venue sites before considering resale.
- Dress up if you want to lean into the theme — the band has encouraged it.
- Texas dates (Houston, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Lubbock) are likely to move fastest given Keen’s home-state following.
Robert Earl Keen’s annual Christmas tour has become a reliable end-of-year tradition for fans who prefer their holiday music with a little edge and a lot of personality. This year’s Studio 54 spin is one of the more colorful themes in recent memory.
