Why Foreigner Remains a Classic Rock Favorite
Formed in 1976, Foreigner became one of rock’s best-known acts through a string of radio hits, arena performances, and multi-platinum releases. The band’s catalog includes songs that have remained popular across generations, helping make its concerts appealing to longtime listeners and newer fans alike.
Popular Foreigner songs include:
- “I Want to Know What Love Is” — the celebrated power ballad that became one of the group’s signature songs.
- “Cold as Ice” — a classic rock staple driven by its distinctive keyboard riff.
- “Juke Box Hero” — an energetic anthem about the dream of becoming a rock star.
- “Hot Blooded” — a hard-rock favorite built around a memorable guitar riff.
- “Feels Like the First Time” — one of the band’s early hits.
- “Urgent” — a driving rock track featuring a recognizable saxophone part.
Setlists can change from show to show, so these songs are examples of the band’s best-known material rather than a confirmed setlist for the October performances.
