Dave Chappelle is heading back to arenas this fall with a new stand-up run called Karmageddon. The seven-date North American tour kicks off Oct. 20 in Nashville and closes Nov. 6 at Madison Square Garden as the opening-night headliner of the New York Comedy Festival.
Tickets first go on sale to Citi cardmembers Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. local time. A free Live Nation All Access presale for select dates starts Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. local. General on-sale is Thursday, Sept. 17 at noon local through Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
Chappelle is coming off a June arena run and his annual Summer Camp shows in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The new dates are solo, phone-free arena shows — expect the same sharp, unfiltered style that packed rooms all summer.

Where to Buy Dave Chappelle Tickets
Primary:
- Ticketmaster – Dave Chappelle
- Live Nation artist page
- Official venue box offices (Bridgestone, Spectrum Center, Moody Center, Toyota Center, MSG, etc.)
If a date sells out or you miss the first drop, compare verified resale:
Prices on the secondary market swing with demand. Face-value inventory is almost always cheaper on the first on-sale. Watch all-in pricing (fees included) before you click buy.

Phone-Free Shows (Yondr Pouches)
Every Karmageddon date is billed as a phone-free experience. Phones, smartwatches, and similar devices go into Yondr pouches at the door. You keep the pouch; it unlocks after the show. Using a phone in the seating bowl can get you removed. Designated unlock zones exist if you need your device.
Plan accordingly: screenshot your mobile ticket before you bag the phone only if the venue still accepts a screenshot at the gate — many arenas now require a live barcode in the official app. Check the event page the day of the show.
City Snapshot: What to Know Before You Buy
Nashville — Bridgestone Arena (Oct. 20)
Tour opener. Downtown arena; parking and rideshare fill up on weeknights. Start with the Citi window if you want lower bowl.
Charlotte — Spectrum Center (Oct. 21)
Back-to-back with Nashville. Easy overnight drive for fans hitting both Carolinas/Tennessee dates.
Toronto — Scotiabank Arena (Oct. 23)
Only Canadian stop. Buy on Ticketmaster.ca; factor in border time if you’re driving from the U.S.
Louisville — KFC Yum! Center (Oct. 24)
Venue listed a Wednesday insider presale (password INSIDER in local coverage). Confirm on the Yum! Center event page.
Austin — Moody Center (Oct. 26)
Campus-adjacent arena. Student and downtown traffic is heavy on a Monday — give yourself extra time.
Houston — Toyota Center (Oct. 28)
Midweek show. Good option if Austin is sold or priced out.
New York — Madison Square Garden (Nov. 6)
Opens the 22nd New York Comedy Festival. Highest demand date on the routing. Festival founder Caroline Hirsch called closing Chappelle’s tour by opening the fest “spectacular.” Expect premium pricing and a hard sell-out.
How to Avoid Overpaying
- Hit Citi on Sept. 15 or All Access on Sept. 16 before the Thursday crush.
- Use official maps on Ticketmaster — don’t buy “obstructed” or “limited view” without checking the listing.
- Compare all-in price, not the teaser number.
- Skip screenshot-only resale DMs. Use FanProtect / Buyer Guarantee marketplaces if you go secondary.
- Chappelle arena dates historically tighten after on-sale. If you want a specific section, don’t wait for a “drop.”
FAQ
Is this a full tour or a short run?
A short seven-date arena run, not a 30-city trek. That’s why individual cities will feel scarce.
What’s the show called?
Karmageddon. It’s a new stand-up set, performed solo.
Are kids allowed?
Comedy arenas vary. Check age policy on each Ticketmaster event. Language will be adult.
Will more dates be added?
Not announced. Summer 2026 was also a tight routing. Follow Ticketmaster and Live Nation for adds.
Where can I read the original announcement?
Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, Consequence, and Variety.
Bottom line: Presale starts tomorrow morning (Sept. 15). General public gets in Thursday, Sept. 17 at noon local. If you want Dave Chappelle live this fall — Nashville through MSG — set alarms now.
