Following the passing of legendary frontman Raul Malo in December 2025, The Mavericks are honoring his legacy with The Music Lives On Tour (also presented as The Mavericks & Friends). The band has named acclaimed country artists James Otto and Emily West as guest lead vocalists for the 2026 run. Original founding member Robert Reynolds also returns on bass and guitar.

This tribute tour celebrates three decades of The Mavericks’ genre-blending sound — blending country, Latin, rock, swing, and more — while keeping Raul Malo’s spirit alive through his timeless songs.
