Chicago indie rock legends Wilco have just dropped an exciting expansion to their 2026 touring plans, announcing a fresh slate of US summer dates running from June through July. Billed primarily as “An Evening With Wilco,” these shows promise an immersive experience: two full sets from the band, complete with a short intermission, and no opening acts for most stops. This format gives fans extended access to Wilco’s deep catalog, spanning classics from Yankee Hotel Foxtrot to recent releases and rarities.
The highlight for many East Coast fans? A special collaboration at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, where beloved long-running indie outfit Yo La Tengo joins as the opener. This marks a rare team-up between the two acts, adding extra anticipation to the NYC-area gig.
The summer run orbits around Wilco’s sold-out Solid Sound Festival (June 26-28, 2026, at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA), where the band will headline and perform special sets, including a one-night-only Mermaid Avenue collaboration with Billy Bragg.
